Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Prevention Specialist to join our team at the Spencer Clarke Group. This exciting opportunity involves working with young people, parents, and carers in school settings to improve their engagement with education and attendance.
About the Role:
- You will support young people to improve their attendance in school and engagement in their education placement.
- The team collaborates with stakeholders including schools, safeguarding teams, healthcare providers, and the Police to achieve the best outcomes for children in education settings.
- You will develop creative, strengths-based approaches to working with children and families.
- Regular supervision and support will be provided to enhance your skills, knowledge, and experience of working with additional support needs in education settings.
- As a Prevention Specialist, you will be based within the school and also support young people and their families within the community.
Requirements:
- Experience in Youth Justice Prevention Support.
- School Attendance Support experience.
- Background in the Local Authority or Public Sector.
