Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Highway Consents Coordinator to join our team at SCS Railways. As a key member of our Consents & Engagement function, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our High Speed 2 project.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collate and process highway consent applications, producing reports in accordance with client requirements.
  • Investigate and provide information on highway-related non-compliances.
  • Work with area-based Highways Consents Managers and Traffic Management Managers to ensure timely consent of delivery teams' requirements.
  • Liaise with the Project team to assess the impact of design and construction activities on 3rd Party assets and objectives.
  • Attend Local Traffic Liaison Group meetings to support area delivery teams.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB), Traffic Signs Manual, and Traffic Signs Regulation and General Directions (TSRGD).
  • Understanding of the High Speed 2 London to West Midlands Act and associated Highways consenting regime.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
