Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Social Worker to join our Children's Services team. As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families, including assessment, planning, and intervention.

You will work closely with other professionals, including social workers, teachers, and healthcare professionals, to ensure that children receive the best possible support and care.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development, child protection, and family dynamics, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of children's needs and develop effective plans to address these needs.

Intervention and Support: Provide direct support to children and families, including counseling, advocacy, and case management.

Collaboration and Partnership: Work closely with other professionals, including social workers, teachers, and healthcare professionals, to ensure that children receive the best possible support and care.

Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress and provide regular reports to managers and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

Qualifications: A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) and Social Work England registration.

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a social work role, preferably in a children's services setting.

Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong assessment and planning skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
