Family Support Worker Opportunity

We are partnering with a Local Authority in Birmingham to provide a Family Support Worker on a 1-month contract, with potential for extension. If you have experience in delivering evidence-based interventions, we encourage you to apply with your CV.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely responses to the needs of children and young people, adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Act as the lead professional for an allocated case load, promoting a common assessment to identify needs and develop a multi-agency support plan.
  • Ensure high-quality case recording, utilizing a common database.
  • Participate in and deliver training initiatives, maintaining up-to-date knowledge in specialist areas.
Requirements:
  • Educated to GCSE standard, with an NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in a related field.
  • Experience in delivering interventions with children, young people, and families.
  • Ability to complete assessments identifying needs and informing interventions.
  • Experience working in partnership with statutory and non-statutory stakeholders.
Important Notes:
  • Availability to start immediately or at short notice is essential.
  • Right to work in the U.K is required.
  • A basic DBS is necessary for this role.
