Project Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Fawkes & Reece South. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our flagship project, a £29 million design and build scheme featuring a steel frame office complex, industrial units, and a five-storey steel frame car park.

The project requires a seasoned quantity surveyor to work closely with our existing team to assist with the procurement of sub-contract packages, collate information on live and final accounts of sub-contractors, and handle day-to-day surveying tasks throughout the project.

As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will report to the MQS and work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the successful delivery of the scheme. You will be responsible for managing a number of packages across the site, including civils, structures, fit-out, and services, with opportunities to take on additional responsibilities as the scheme progresses.

We are looking for a candidate with extensive experience of full-cycle surveying on site, with a strong background in both build and civils elements. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the procurement of sub-contract packages
  • Collate information on live and final accounts of sub-contractors
  • Handle day-to-day surveying tasks throughout the project
  • Manage a number of packages across the site, including civils, structures, fit-out, and services
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the successful delivery of the scheme

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience of full-cycle surveying on site

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
