Senior Medical Lead for Older Adult Mental Health Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team as a Senior Medical Lead for Older Adult Mental Health Services. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team providing care to older adults with mental health needs across Havering - South.
Key Responsibilities- Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
- Work directly with older adults and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external older adult mental health providers and acute hospitals
- Participate in the on-call rota
- Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals and agencies
- Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
- Be innovative, motivated, and passionate about Older Adult mental health care
- Have an essential understanding of current developments in mental health care
