Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at North East London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Medical Consultant in Adult Community Mental Health, you will play a key role in providing senior medical support and guidance to our multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
- Work directly with older adults and their families and liaise with other external older adult mental health providers and acute hospitals
- Participate in the on-call rota with a frequency of 1:50, receiving a 3% of basic salary, Category A on-call supplement
- Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals and agencies
Requirements:
- Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
- Essential understanding of current developments in mental health care
