Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team at Sanctuary Personnel. As a specialist in mental health, you will be responsible for supporting individuals on their recovery journey. The role involves conducting risk assessments and developing tailored care plans that promote recovery and wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 certification in Tackling Substance Misuse, Health and Social Care, or a relevant qualification. You should also have experience working in substance misuse and knowledge of therapeutic approaches. Additionally, you should be familiar with Microsoft Office and possess strong communication skills.

The salary for this permanent position is between £22,390 and £27,062 per annum, inclusive of excellent benefits such as generous holiday entitlement, life assurance, comprehensive pension package, and employee health benefit scheme. Our client is committed to delivering high-quality care for individuals affected by substance misuse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Risk/Need Assessments & Care Plans: Conduct assessments and develop tailored care plans that support recovery and wellbeing.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside peers and a multi-disciplinary team to deliver holistic care.
  • One-on-One Sessions: Provide personal support to service users, helping them navigate their recovery journey.
  • Safeguarding: Ensure the safety of vulnerable adults and children by reporting concerns in accordance with policies.
