Role Summary: Maximus is currently seeking a skilled Assessment Specialist to join our team. As a Paramedic Functional Assessor, you will use your clinical expertise to conduct assessments of individuals with disabilities or health conditions. Your reports will be instrumental in helping the Department for Work and Pensions determine eligibility for benefits.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments to understand how an individual's disability or health condition affects their daily life.
  • Produce detailed Personal Independent Payment (PIP) reports to support benefit determinations.
  • Develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills through ongoing training and feedback.

Required Skills:
  • A valid HCPC registration number.
  • At least one year of experience as a paramedic or within a related healthcare field.
  • The ability to work in the UK.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using computer software to create detailed reports.
