Highway Maintenance Coordinator:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Highway Maintenance Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in their community.
About the Role:
As a Highway Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for investigating planned and emergency enquiries relating to highways and public spaces, acting on urgent reports within legal timeframes, and working closely with parish and town councils, local community groups, and other council departments.
Key Requirements:
- A good understanding of highways and/or ground maintenance legislation.
- Strong communication skills and a proven ability to balance competing demands.
- Good IT skills and an ability to learn new systems such as MS Word.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this role is £26,000 - £31,000 per year. You will also receive generous annual leave (pro rata), employee wellbeing support, and access to a range of staff discounts.
