About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our team as the Head of Strategic Partnerships. This is a key role that will play a critical part in driving our business forward and building strong relationships with our vendors and distributors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic partnership plan to drive business growth and revenue
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and distributors to ensure alignment with our business objectives
  • Work closely with our sales and account management teams to understand customer requirements and ensure effective solutions are delivered
  • Identify opportunities to develop sales strategies and maximize customer opportunities with vendors and distributors
  • Manage rebate programs for distribution and vendors, excluding Cisco
  • Collaborate with our CTO office to ensure we are working with the right vendors to deliver our technology strategy
  • Work with our commercial team to ensure we have a commercially viable model identified for key customer opportunities
Requirements
  • Proven experience working in a similar role, preferably in the IT industry
  • Strong understanding of key industry technology trends, customer needs, and solutions
  • Experience in building relationships across an organization and driving business growth
  • Ability to build effective and constructive relationships at multiple levels within vendors and distributors
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to persuade and influence
  • Good understanding and knowledge of key vendor technologies, programs, and reward structures
  • Experience of sales in Software, Hardware, Security, Cloud, Managed Services, and ITAM
Desirable
  • Understanding of technologies that will disrupt the market in future years
  • Ability to set a vision and drive teams to achieve goals in a considered and effective way
  • Experience of managing budgets and improving bottom line margin
  • Experience of global supply chain management, cross-border logistics, and operations
