Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Support the Registered Manager in providing leadership and direction to the team, ensuring the service is delivered to the highest standards.
  • Staff Management: Manage and supervise staff effectively, ensuring they have the necessary skills and training to deliver excellent care services.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Staff Deployment: Oversee staff rotas and ensure cost-efficient deployment, ensuring the service is delivered in a cost-effective manner.
  • Appraisals and Meetings: Conduct regular staff appraisals and meetings, ensuring staff are motivated and engaged.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure the service is compliant with health and safety regulations, ensuring the well-being of staff and service users.
  • Liaison and Communication: Liaise with professionals and families, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Service Development: Assist with the development of the service, ensuring it meets the needs of service users and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership and management experience within care services.
  • Management Skills: Ability to manage budgets, staff, and ensure service quality.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to liaise with families and external professionals.
