Children's Home Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and professional Children's Home Manager to join our team at Onecare-UK Ltd. As a leading provider of children's care services in London, we are committed to delivering high-quality care and support to vulnerable children and young people.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our children's care home, ensuring the delivery of a safe, secure, and supportive environment for all residents. This will involve leading and managing a team of staff, providing supervision and appraisal, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the day-to-day operations of the children's care home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to residents.
- Lead and manage a team of staff, providing supervision, appraisal, and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to provide excellent care.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards 2015.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safe and secure management of the care home.
- Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, commissioners, and external agencies to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the efficient operation of the care home.
- Minimum 5 years' experience of working with vulnerable children in a residential environment.
- Experience of managing staff and completing supervision and appraisal processes.
- Previous experience in a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager role in a Residential Children's Care Setting.
- Extensive knowledge and practical experience of relevant regulations and standards, including the Children's Act and Care Standards Act 2000.
- Knowledge and practice of national developments in services for SEND children and young people.
- Knowledge and ability to work constructively with behaviors that may challenge under a Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) ethos.
- NVQ or Diploma Level 5 in Leadership & Management in Residential Children's Services or equivalent.
- Full UK driving license and use of a vehicle for business purposes.
- A competitive salary of £55,000 - £62,000 per annum.
- A full-time position with 40 hours per week.
