We are seeking an Automotive Diagnostic and Testing Professional to join our team in Nuneaton.

The role of the Automotive Diagnostic and Testing Professional is to provide regional technical support for our range of diagnostic tools and vehicle communication systems. You will work closely with our Engineering teams to develop new hardware and software products.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and troubleshoot diagnostic tool issues.
  2. Log and analyze diagnostic tool and vehicle communication data.
  3. Conduct detailed on-vehicle testing of products and software.
  4. Disassemble and reassemble vehicles for testing purposes.
  5. Compile application lists for new products.
  6. Test and validate software.
  7. Develop training materials, including videos and photos.
  8. Maintain relationships with automotive industry contacts.

Requirements:

  1. Diploma in Automotive Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  2. Experience in automotive diagnostics or auto electrician.
  3. Good understanding of vehicle systems architecture.
  4. Knowledge of automotive communication standards (ISO9141, CAN, etc.).
  5. Previous experience in the automotive locksmith industry is beneficial.
  6. Proficient in using vehicle logging tools (e.g., Vehicle Spy, CANcaseXL or equivalent).
  7. Good knowledge of PCs, including MS Office.
  8. Proficient in English, both oral and written.
  9. Full UK driving license.
