Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Diagnostic Specialist to join our team at dormakaba Canada Inc. As an Automotive Diagnostic Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support for our range of Advanced Diagnostics/Silca Automotive Key products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with diagnostic tools and vehicle communications
  • Conduct detailed on-vehicle testing of products and software
  • Compile application lists relevant to new products
  • Test and validate software
  • Develop and maintain training materials
  • Establish and maintain relationships with automotive industry contacts
Requirements
  • Diploma in Automotive Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in automotive diagnostics or auto electrician
  • Good understanding of vehicle systems architecture
  • Knowledge of automotive communication standards (ISO9141, CAN, etc.)
  • Previous experience in automotive locksmith industry beneficial
  • Proficient in MS Office and PC applications
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
