About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Specialist to join our team at NFP, an Aon company (Europe). As a key member of our business intelligence team, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data from various sources to provide actionable insights and solutions for business problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain leading-edge analytics systems to support business decision-making
  • Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to understand and prioritize analytics needs
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for growth, and communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations to support business intelligence
  • Design and implement data acquisition and integration logic to ensure optimal scalability and performance
  • Develop and maintain databases to support data evaluation and analysis
  • Evaluate internal systems for efficiency and accuracy, and develop protocols for handling and processing data
Requirements
  • Proven analytics skills, including data mining, evaluation, and visualization
  • Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations
  • Experience with database and model design, and segmentation techniques
  • Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of three years' experience in data analysis or a related field
  • Insurance or financial services experience preferred
  • Practical experience in statistical analysis using statistical packages, including Excel, PowerBI, SPSS, and SAS
  • Strong programming experience with frameworks, including XML, JavaScript, and ETL
