Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Analyst to join our team at Rock Power Connections. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring essential goods and services for our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, reliability, and delivery speed.
- Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to secure the most favourable terms.
- Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.
- Procurement Planning: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop procurement plans.
- Stores Management: Work with Storeman and Delivery Managers to optimise stock utilisation and drive cost savings.
- Contract Management: Manage the entire procurement lifecycle, including contract drafting, review, and execution.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges in procurement activities and develop mitigation strategies.
- Proven experience as a Buyer, Procurement Analyst, or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in electrical infrastructure.
- Proficiency in contract management, supplier relationship management, and procurement software/tools.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
