We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Control Coordinator to join our team at Workforce Staffing Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, tracking stock, and overseeing shipments to ensure seamless logistics and supply chain management.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels and track stock to ensure accurate reporting and timely ordering
- Oversee shipments and monitor any delays to ensure timely delivery
- Arrange for stock to be booked into warehouses and maintain proper storage and security of materials
- Maintain purchase and pricing reports to ensure budget compliance
- Liaise with warehouse and factories to ensure smooth operations
- Perform regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Follow budget guidelines to keep costs within expectations
- Maintain databases and data imports/exports to ensure efficient data management
- Improve working practices and flows to enhance efficiency
- Conduct analysis of data from various sources to provide business insights
- Place purchase orders and liaise with project managers/account managers and project coordinators
- Organize transport and logistics to ensure timely delivery
Requirements
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to work with various stakeholders
- Experience in stock control and logistics management
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs, especially Excel
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Knowledge of WMS preferred
- Data entry experience
