About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate 1:1 Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant KS2 team, providing tailored support and fostering a strong, supportive connection with a student who thrives with consistency and dedicated attention.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Able to provide 1:1 support, maintaining pupil engagement and safety at all times
- Calm, patient, and enthusiastic about making a difference in a student's life
- Experienced in working with children with social and communication needs
- Open to learning new approaches and taking advice from specialists
About You:
- You will be an integral part of our close-knit team, collaborating with the KS2 team and communicating closely with SENDCo and parents/carers
- Assist the pupil in managing and overcoming challenging behaviors
- Engage in innovative, child-led learning activities that foster interest and development
