Job overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Adolescent team, providing support to children who have been victims of or are at risk from exploitative situations.

The successful candidate will work closely with other professionals, including social workers, CAMHS practitioners, and missing children coordinators, to provide a comprehensive response to these situations.

Barking and Dagenham has a growing 0-19 population, presenting opportunities for professionals with expertise in adolescent development and contextual safeguarding.

Responsibilities

  • Work with children who have been victims of or are at risk from exploitative situations.
  • Develop relationships with partner agencies to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Contribute to the team's efforts to provide a targeted response to vulnerable children.

Requirements

  • Social Work degree or DipSW, registered with Social Work England, and ASYE completion.
  • A good understanding of adolescent development, contextual safeguarding, and exploitation.
  • Experience developing relationships with partner agencies.

What we offer

We offer a competitive salary of £34,000 - £41,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development in a supportive team environment.
