Youth Mental Health Support Worker

Monarch Education is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Youth Mental Health Support Worker. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people by providing emotional support and guidance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working with pupils on a 1:1 basis, providing emotional support and guidance to help them manage their mental health and wellbeing. This will involve identifying areas of need, developing strategies to improve wellbeing, and collaborating with teachers and other professionals to deliver effective support and interventions.

In addition to providing direct support to pupils, you will also be involved in classroom activities and may run programs outside the classroom to promote pupil wellbeing. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience in youth mental health support, while making a real difference in the lives of children and young people.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with pupils in school or alternative settings
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with pupils, teachers, and other professionals
