About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Governance and Compliance Administrator to join our team at Dorking Healthcare Ltd. As a key member of our governance and compliance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of excellent standards in safe and effective services and the expectations of our governance framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Governance and Compliance Manager and Service Managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and compliance with our governance framework.
  • Develop and implement effective incident management and complaints systems, monitoring the implementation of recommendations and dissemination of lessons learned.
  • Provide effective administrative activities and processes relating to clinical governance, quality assurance, and Care Quality Commission compliance within our services.
  • Support and participate in all governance meetings, including DHC-wide and service-specific meetings.
  • Assist with document control and policy revision, and access and maintain records on RADAR and TEAMNET.
Requirements
  • Good standard of GCSE-level education in Maths and English at Grade C, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in an administration role, able to lead and develop administrative activity and systems.
  • High level of experience in the use of Excel functions, including spreadsheets, workbooks, and functions such as simple formulae, data filters, and data sorts.
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills, including proficient typing.
  • Administrative, organisational, and co-ordination skills.
  • Time management skills.
  • Demonstrate a commitment and passion to ensure patients receive the highest care and treatment possible.
Desirable
  • Experience of using specific NHS databases or a willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of reporting system RADAR/DATIX or similar systems.
  • Demonstrable experience of co-ordinating client or patient safety incident and complaints.
  • Good understanding of CQC requirements and mandatory notifications.
  • Experience of supporting incident or complaints root cause analysis.
  • Use of graphs and pivot tables in Excel.
  • Understanding of data protection and information governance requirements.
