Nurslink Complex Care Leader Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC PIN to fill the role of Complex Care Leader at Nurslink Homecare.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading clinical operations, supervising and mentoring a team of nurses and healthcare assistants, and ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and standards of care.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Clinical Leadership
    1. Provide strong clinical direction to the care team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient-centred care.
    2. Act as the lead point of contact for clinical queries, supporting staff in managing complex care cases.
    3. Lead clinical assessments, care planning, and the development of personalized care pathways for clients with complex needs.
    4. Ensure care plans are followed, regularly reviewed, and updated in accordance with clients' evolving health conditions.
    5. Oversee the management of clinical risks and ensure compliance with best practice guidelines and CQC standards.
  2. Staff Management and Training
    1. Supervise and mentor a team of nurses and healthcare assistants, providing ongoing clinical support and professional development.
    2. Lead the recruitment, training, and retention of clinical staff, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality care.
    3. Organize and deliver clinical training programs, including competency assessments for staff.
  3. Compliance and Quality Assurance
    1. Ensure all clinical practices adhere to CQC regulations and standards of care.
    2. Lead on clinical audits, ensuring continuous improvement in the quality of care provided.
    3. Implement policies and procedures that align with clinical governance and risk management frameworks.
  4. Client and Stakeholder Engagement
    1. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and external healthcare professionals.
    2. Attend client reviews and multidisciplinary meetings to advocate for the clinical needs of service users.
  5. Service Development
    1. Play a key role in shaping and developing the clinical services offered by Nurslink Homecare.
    2. Identify opportunities for innovation and improvements in service delivery.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with valid NMC PIN.
  • Significant experience in complex care, ideally in a community or home care setting.
  • Proven experience in leadership or management role, with ability to lead and inspire a clinical team.
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and clinical governance.
  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of long-term conditions, ventilator care, tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, etc.
  • Experience in conducting clinical assessments, developing care plans, and managing clinical risk.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
