Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at Southern Water. As a key member of our People Services team, you will be responsible for providing HR advice and support to employees at all levels, with a focus on Employee Relations cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a dedicated HR advisory service in relation to employment and employee relations matters, including Employment law, ER, TUPE, and Org design.
  • Manage a high volume of case loads and a wide range of case types, requiring excellent attention to detail and planning skills.
  • Build authentic trust-based relationships at all levels of the business, including with employees, managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Work within set parameters and understand governance and compliance policies, including Data Protection principles.

Requirements

  • CIPD Qualified with extensive knowledge of HR policies and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Full UK driving licence and own car, with a willingness to travel across the Southern Water region to support cases.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of up to £44,000, based on skills and experience.
  • A 6-month Fixed Term Contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.
