Job Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at Manpower RPO - Babcock. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the UK's fleet of in-service submarines and associated weapon systems.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing in-service support to the Royal Navy's fleet of submarines, with a primary focus on submarine weapon systems. This includes liaising with the MoD and Waterfront teams to discuss submarine maintenance requirements, as well as providing reactive support to the customer for emergent engineering and programme challenges.

You will also capture, collate and communicate engineering risks, issues, and opportunities through understanding the submarine material state and through life maintenance.

An estimated salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum reflects the complexity and responsibility of this role, which demands an in-depth knowledge of Combat Systems as well as a broad knowledge of strategic systems and whole boat engineering requirements. Experience and understanding of Submarine Weapon Systems and associated maintenance requirements is also essential.
