At Brook Street NMR, we pride ourselves on providing administrative support for the legal system across England and Wales. Our work ensures that justice is accessible to everyone, operating efficiently.

We are currently recruiting for a temporary Admin Officer position in Nuneaton, with a good chance of extension. This role would provide valuable experience working within the Public Sector.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within an administration role, possess good IT skills, and be able to remain calm under pressure. You will also be required to handle confidential and sensitive information, and have the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General administration duties
  • Data inputting using Microsoft Office package including Excel
  • Supporting the Judiciary with hearings using Cloud Video Platform, MS Teams, and other video/audio platforms
  • Producing court orders using Courts bespoke systems and dealing with correspondence
  • Ensuring all necessary papers are distributed where required
  • Telephone work as needed
  • Completing documents including standard letters, forms, applications, orders, records, registers, statistics, etc.
  • Providing support to colleagues
  • Operating office equipment

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience within an administration role (preferable)
  • Good IT skills
  • Able to remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to work with very confidential and sensitive information
  • Able to provide 3 years of referencing and pass a basic DBS check

Benefits:

Standard hours are 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday (between 8:30 am-5:30 pm). The pay rate is £11.88 per hour, paid weekly.
