
Race Car Design Specialist

As a Senior Associate in the Aero Design team, you will design high-performance race car aerodynamic surfaces, wind tunnel model parts, and assemblies. This exciting opportunity is ideal for an individual with a degree in Mechanical/Automotive/Aeronautical engineering or related field experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and execute tasks in alignment with established engineering standards. Additionally, you will contribute to the design process, ensuring the successful execution of development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design of aero surfaces and wind tunnel model components
- Work closely with the Aero Design team, aerodynamicists, CFD, model makers, production team, Wind Tunnel technician, R&D team, and vehicle engineering team
- Forecast simple projects' lead times and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Execute tasks in alignment with established engineering standards
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical/Automotive/Aeronautical engineering or related field experience
- 3D CAD knowledge and proficiency with MS Office
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and Formula Student and industrial experience advantageous
Working Conditions:
This role is factory-based but may involve occasional travel. The working hours are predominantly carried out during standard working hours, but sometimes include additional hours and weekends.
