About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic Modeller to join our team of experts in the water industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hydraulic modelling services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all health and safety, quality, and environmental aspects of projects.
  • Develop and deliver wastewater catchment strategies and solutions, including hydraulic modelling and analysis, model use studies, optioneering, and cost-benefit analysis studies.
  • Awareness of solution feasibility and buildability engineering factors.
  • Continuously improve tools, procedures, and processes to drive efficiency and innovation.
  • Ensure quality of outputs and compliance with standards, specifications, and governance requirements.
  • Responsible for and reporting of commercial performance, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Produce bids and proposals.
  • Line management of project team members, including day-to-day leadership, workload planning, provision of technical direction, and driving staff performance and motivation.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of relevant legislation and water industry regulation.
  • Technical/thought leadership in wastewater catchment planning, industry regulation, and legislation.
  • Ability to manage small to large projects/packages and programmes of works.
  • Deep expertise in hydraulic modelling, catchment planning, and/or related wastewater infrastructure areas.
  • Proficiency in MS 365 applications, including advanced Excel, PowerBI, and SharePoint.
  • Working knowledge of GIS Systems (MapInfo, ArcGIS, QGIS).
  • Experience using FME, Optimatics, and Python would be an advantage.
