Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Maths graduate to join our team as a Teaching Assistant at a secondary school in the Stockport area.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers to support students in their learning and development. You will have the opportunity to work with students one-on-one or in small groups, providing extra support and guidance where needed. You will also be responsible for helping to plan and deliver lessons, creating resources, and assessing student progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering Maths lessons
  2. Help students with Maths homework and assignments
  3. Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to students who need extra help
  4. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher
  5. Participate in extracurricular activities such as Math clubs or competitions
Requirements:
  1. A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  3. Ability to work well with students, teachers, and parents
  4. Strong organizational and time-management skills
  5. Passion for teaching and helping young people succeed
