Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Maths graduate to join our team as a Teaching Assistant at a secondary school in the Stockport area.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers to support students in their learning and development. You will have the opportunity to work with students one-on-one or in small groups, providing extra support and guidance where needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering Maths lessons
  • Help students with Maths homework and assignments
  • Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to students who need extra help
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher
  • Participate in extracurricular activities such as Math clubs or competitions

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well with students, teachers, and parents
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Passion for teaching and helping young people succeed
