Job Title: IT Technical Support Engineer

TeacherActive is seeking an experienced IT Technical Support Engineer to join our team in Birmingham. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our users, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to users, including troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Work with the IT team to identify and resolve technical issues, and implement solutions to prevent future problems
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including procedures and guides for IT systems and software
  • Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement new IT systems and processes
  • Provide training and support to users on the use of IT systems and software
Requirements:
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with Windows operating systems, hardware, and software
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with users and IT team members
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Knowledge of IT service management principles and practices
