Administrative Officer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Officer to join our team at the Ministry of Justice. As an Administrative Officer, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative duties, including creating orders, managing email inboxes, and dealing with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creating and sending orders to users of the Ministry of Justice
  • Court Clerking, including the running of the courtroom
  • Managing a busy email inbox and responding to queries
  • Dealing with senior stakeholders, including Judges, Judiciary, and Barristers
  • Completing general administrative duties, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Cross-checking documentation to ensure accuracy before sending to end users
  • Drafting standard letters and correspondence
  • Maintaining detailed records and information
Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in spelling
  • Knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working in an administrative role
  • Strong IT skills and ability to learn new systems
