Industry Placement Opportunity

We are offering a 2-year graduate scheme in Technical Planning for Interior Manufacturing. As a member of our dynamic team, you will gain experience in various fields: Series Planning, Structure Planning, Project Planning, and Logistic Planning.

Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver best practice solutions to improve efficiency, ergonomic, logistical, and layout elements of the work area by applying Industrial Engineering & Process Improvement Practices.
  • Establish a Lean Manufacturing Environment by applying the company's own VPS / CIP principles to reduce the 7 Wastes of Lean Manufacturing.
  • Create work instructions and relevant process documentation and optimise assembly sequences, including line balancing.
  • Analyse future volume demands and their impact on the production system, and plan scenarios to create the future production system considering all relevant planning premises.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • You must be studying towards or have achieved a Bachelor's degree at 2:2 or above or a Master's degree Pass or above in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar.
  • You should be experienced with Microsoft Office and fluent in English.
  • You should have an autodidactic ability to learn new methods and software applications.
Compensation Package
  • A competitive annual salary of £34,000, which is paid pro rata to your contract.
