Datasource is a leading engineering consultancy that works with the MOD. We are seeking a skilled Quality Control Engineer to join our team.

Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to provide high-quality support to diverse projects, conduct standard checks, and suggest improvements to resolve issues before project delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with project management on quality-related issues and enhance project documentation through reviews and suggestions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of quality standards for initial project phases
  • Collaborate with project management on quality-related issues
  • Conduct regular quality audits and assessments
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Represent the quality department at weekly meetings

The salary for this position is approximately £52,000 per year, with a range of benefits including 25 days' holiday, pension contributions matched, life assurance, and more.

Requirements:
  • Proficiency in quality management systems (BS EN ISO 9001)
  • Background in the nuclear industry is advantageous
  • HNC/HND level education in a relevant field is required
  • Recognized professional qualifications in Quality Management are beneficial
