Role Overview:

The Senior Systems Engineering Lead will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise and advice to internal and external stakeholders on Systems Engineering and Model Based Systems Engineering.

This role involves working in collaboration with other systems engineers and domain experts to determine and agree the functional capabilities of assigned systems of interest.

Key responsibilities include communicating conceptual architectural designs to technical authorities, liaising with stakeholders, and working on concept/designs or early proof of concept projects.

Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, dependant on experience.

Job Description:

  • Provide subject matter expertise and advice to internal and external stakeholders on Systems Engineering and Model Based Systems Engineering
  • Work in collaboration with other systems engineers and domain experts to determine and agree the functional capabilities of assigned systems of interest
  • Communicate conceptual architectural designs to technical authorities
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the engineering lifecycle with experience of operating in the concept/design phase and awareness of the entire engineering lifecycle
  • STEM related degree or previous experience within the Automotive/Defence/Telecommunications/Nuclear environment
  • Experience of working on concept/designs or early proof of concept projects
