Job Overview:

The role of the Engineering Lead in our Support Engineering department involves overseeing the technical aspects of AR&M engineering. This position requires extensive domain knowledge, leadership skills, and a strong awareness of product safety and SHE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Technical Expertise: Provide guidance to the AR&M engineering team and serve as a knowledgeable interface with suppliers and customers on AR&M matters.
  • Deliverables Evaluation: Undertake the evaluation and sign-off of the impact of engineering change on support deliverables for systems and equipment.
  • Oversight and Administration: Oversee AR&M administrative functions to maintain records within the Support Engineering department and facilitate ILS activities.
  • Deliverables Production: Produce the full range of AR&M deliverables, including AR&M Case and Case Reports.

Requirements:

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Domain Knowledge: Extensive level of domain knowledge over the full range of AR&M disciplines and how they relate to ILS and Safety.
  • Experience: Experience of delivering AR&M in appropriate phases of the programme lifecycle.
  • Lifecycle Awareness: Knowledge of the complete engineering lifecycle.
  • Safety and Health: Strong awareness of Product Safety and SHE.
  • Communication: Good communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders.
  • Qualification: Degree-level qualification in a STEM subject.
