We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Officer to join our team at Michael Page Finance. As a key member of our Accounting & Finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of payroll operations and providing exceptional support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare reports for the Accounting & Finance Department, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
- Collaborate with the HR Department on employee-related issues, ensuring seamless communication and support.
- Assist with year-end processes, including tax returns and financial statement preparation.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll information, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a payroll position, with a strong understanding of payroll software and MS Office.
- Excellent knowledge of payroll regulations and laws, with the ability to stay up-to-date on changes and updates.
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
