About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Sellafield Ltd. As a Mechanical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering the full range of mechanical craft maintenance activities safely, efficiently, and effectively in support of the business/plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Isolate and make safe plant equipment
  • Fault find and resolve issues
  • Use manual and electronic information retrieval systems
  • Read technical drawings, instructions, and manuals
  • Liaise with a broad range of contacts

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or similar subject
  • Successful completion of a recognised Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or similar subject
  • Experience of isolating/making safe of plant equipment
  • Experience/evidence of fault finding and how issues were resolved
