About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Sellafield Ltd. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical and instrumentation work to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities safely, efficiently, and effectively in support of plant operations.
  • Work at heights, in confined spaces, and wear breathing apparatus as required.
  • Use manual and electronic information retrieval systems to retrieve and explain technical information.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, instructions, and manuals.
  • Liaise with a broad range of contacts to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or similar subject.
  • Successful completion of a recognised Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering or similar subject.
  • Experience of isolating/making safe of electrical equipment.
  • Experience/evidence of fault finding and how issues were resolved.
  • Able to use both manual and electronic information retrieval systems.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with a broad range of contacts.
