Chartwells - Schools is the leading provider of catering and support services to the education sector. For over two decades, we have been focusing on helping those in education to build strong bodies, sharp minds, and lead long healthy lives.
We are currently seeking a Dedicated Student Services Ambassador to join our team at Hassocks on a part-time basis, contracted to approximately 10 hours per week.
The estimated annual salary for this role is £14,000-£16,000 based on the UK National Living Wage. This figure may vary depending on experience and qualifications.
This role involves contributing to a passionate and friendly team working in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
- Creating attractive food and counter displays
- Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
- Handling cash and operating the cash register
- Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
- Complying with Health & Safety regulations
To succeed in this role, you should possess an enthusiastic can-do attitude, display passion for delivering excellent customer service, be an excellent team player, arrive equipped with a desire to succeed in your role, thrive working under pressure, demonstrate outstanding timekeeping and reliability, and have a safety-first mindset.
Our ideal candidate will also have some experience within a similar catering-related role, although this is not essential.
As a dedicated student services ambassador, you will contribute to the delivery of exceptional customer experiences for Chartwells on a part-time basis. You will work closely with our team to maintain a positive brand image, handle cash transactions accurately, and ensure compliance with food handling and hygiene standards.
