We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Support Worker to join our team at a highly acclaimed, specialist independent school for students aged 11 – 19 with autism in Mid-Sussex.
About the Role:The successful candidate will support students in achieving their educational goals and developing independence and confidence. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people with autism.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and EHCPs to ensure each student receives tailored support.
- Create a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment that fosters learning and growth.
- Experience working with young people with autism is highly desirable; however, we encourage applicants from various backgrounds who share our commitment to supporting individuals with autism.
