About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Test Manager to join our team at Hastings Direct. As a key member of our DevOps team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and implementing new test automation tools to improve our change delivery cycle times and quality of deliveries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the DevOps team to design and implement test automation strategies that meet our business needs.
  • Lead and guide a team of Automation Testers in the scrum teams within CIO, ensuring timely completion of performance reviews, mandatory training, and regular one-on-ones.
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and tools to ensure efficient and effective testing.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs and ensure seamless integration with our development teams.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in IT testing with a focus on test automation and line management responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Knowledge of performance testing and reporting tools.
