Job Title: Repair Operations Lead

£72,774 - £76,496 per annum

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead repair operations at Stoke-on-Trent City Council, driving improvements in service delivery and resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 175 staff to deliver responsive and programmed works, major contracts, and capital projects that meet the needs of residents and the community.
  • Develop strategies to eliminate damp, mould, and condensation, ensuring residents feel safe and secure in their homes.
  • Address performance issues, champion change management, and embed cutting-edge IT systems to improve productivity and resident satisfaction.
We're Looking For
  • A highly skilled leader with experience in managing large-scale property repairs, maintenance, or capital projects.
  • Strong expertise in performance and change management, with a track record of delivering improvements in complex environments.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of compliance, health and safety, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate political dynamics and build trust with residents, staff, and partners.
