About the Role

As a Support Worker (Carer, Care Worker, Care Assistant) with Cumberland Council, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents. You will work closely with our experienced team to deliver high-quality care and support individuals with their daily needs.

Your role will involve providing physical and emotional care, assisting with medication, and encouraging residents to achieve or maintain independence. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or incidents.

We offer a competitive rate of pay (£13.05 per hour, rising to £13.55 with supplement), excellent training and development opportunities, and a range of benefits, including flexible working arrangements and access to our Local Government Pension Scheme.
