About the Role

We are seeking an experienced General Practitioner to join our team as a Primary Care Innovator. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic and passionate team, delivering high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

This substantive full-time or part-time post will provide clinical leadership and support to members of the prison's healthcare team. You will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of GP clinical services on site, working closely with your Head of Healthcare and North West Regional Lead GP.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to members of the prison's healthcare team
  • Oversee the development and delivery of GP clinical services on site
  • Work closely with your Head of Healthcare and North West Regional Lead GP

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for primary care and healthcare innovation, with excellent communication and leadership skills. You will also have a recognised medical qualification, certificate of vocational training, and evidence of ongoing professional development.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a member of our team, you will also receive access to NHS Pension, annual leave on your birthday, welcome payment for some posts, refer a friend scheme, training and development opportunities, flexible working, access to Employee Assistance and Health and Wellbeing programmes, and up to 33 days annual leave.
