We are seeking a skilled Care Assistant to join our team in the Clay Cross and Alfreton area. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our elderly residents, ensuring their daily needs are met with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the existing team of carers in delivering person-centered care to our residents.
  • Undertake personal care duties, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Prepare light meals and fluids for residents as required.
  • Ensure the safe use of moving and handling equipment, including hoists and slings.
  • Oversee the health and safety of residents under your care.
  • Administer basic medication as required.
  • Undertake basic cleaning duties, adhering to cleaning rotas and safety procedures.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 12 months paid UK care experience in a community, care, or nursing home setting.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service.
  • Mandatory training certificates relevant to the role, dated within the past 12 months.
  • Two professional references covering a minimum of 2 years, including one from your most recent employer.
  • Access to transport or reliable commuting to locations in Clay Cross and Alfreton.
Working Hours:
  • Hours are communicated weekly, with shifts on days from Monday to Sunday.
  • Typical shifts include 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00.
Pay Rate:
  • £11.44 per hour for hours worked between 07:00 to 19:00.
  • £15.22 per hour for hours worked between 19:00 to 07:00.
