About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Care Assistant to join our team in the Clay Cross and Alfreton area. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to live independently and safely in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care and support to clients, ensuring their needs are met and their dignity is respected.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Provide personal care duties, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Prepare light meals and fluids for clients as required.
  • Ensure the safe use of moving and handling equipment.
  • Oversee the health and safety of clients under your care.
  • Administer basic medication as required.
  • Undertake basic cleaning duties, following relevant cleaning rotas and safety procedures.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 12 months of paid UK care experience working within the community, care, or nursing home.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service.
  • Mandatory training certificates relevant to the role, dated within the past 12 months.
  • Two professional references covering a minimum of 2 years, including one from your most recent employer.
  • Access to your transport or reliable commuting options to locations in Clay Cross and Alfreton.
Working Hours

Hours are communicated weekly, with shifts on days from Monday to Sunday. Typical shifts include:

  • 06:00 to 14:00
  • 14:00 to 22:00
Pay Rate

The pay rate for this role is:

  • £11.44 per hour for hours worked between 07:00 to 19:00
  • £15.22 per hour for hours worked between 19:00 to 07:00
