Job Title: Senior Manager, Climate Transition

Join The Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) as a Senior Manager, Climate Transition, and play a critical role in driving the global transition to a zero-carbon society. As a key member of our Climate Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote sustainable development in the transportation sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of strategies and policies to promote the transition to a low-carbon transportation sector, including the development of new technologies and business models.
  • Collaborate with international partners, governments, and stakeholders to advance the global transition to a zero-carbon society.
  • Develop and manage partnerships with key stakeholders, including NGOs, governments, and private sector companies, to promote sustainable development and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to governments and other stakeholders to develop and implement policies and programs to promote sustainable development and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting sustainable development in the transportation sector.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in climate change policy and international development, with a focus on the transportation sector.
  • Strong understanding of the global transportation sector and the opportunities and challenges for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with international partners and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Fluency in English, with proficiency in other languages an asset.
