Job Title: Senior Manager, Climate Transition

Join The Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) as a Senior Manager, Climate Transition, and play a critical role in driving the global transition to a zero-carbon society. As a key member of our Climate Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote sustainable development in the transportation sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of strategies and policies to promote the transition to a low-carbon transportation sector, including the development of clean energy technologies and the promotion of sustainable transportation modes.
  • Collaborate with international partners, governments, and stakeholders to advance the global transition to a zero-carbon society.
  • Develop and manage partnerships with key stakeholders, including governments, NGOs, and private sector companies, to promote the adoption of low-carbon technologies and practices.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to governments and other stakeholders to help them develop and implement effective climate policies and programs.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting sustainable development in the transportation sector.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, policy, or economics.
  • At least 5 years of experience in climate policy, sustainable development, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective climate policies and programs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
