Job DetailsSenior Planner, London - UK South Build Division

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to support our UK Build Division in the South on a prestigious Healthcare project. The successful candidate will work closely with the management team to plan and program the design, procurement, and construction activities associated with the project. Key responsibilities include leading the program and planning management for the team in the preconstruction and construction phases, developing regular reports to feedback on progress and performance, and collaborating with the Regional Planner to review programs, outputs, and phasing.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Report back to the Regional Planner on the current program position on all projects, providing weekly and monthly updates.
  2. Conduct Performance Development Plans (PDPs) with assistant planners, driving actions and activities identified in their development plans.
  3. Lead and coordinate planning and program management duties in the preconstruction process.
  4. Lead and coordinate planning and program management duties on site.
  5. Contribute to the assessment of the program and entitlements under the contract, coordinating outputs with the management team.
  6. Lead input to program reporting, providing weekly and monthly updates as required.
  7. Report the program position at the monthly contract review meeting.
Qualifications
  1. Relevant degree or diploma.
  2. Experience working on Healthcare/Hospital projects desired.
  3. Advanced Asta Powerproject Training - Progress Analysis & S-curve reporting.
  4. Advanced Primavera P6 Training - Managing costs & resources.
  5. Advanced contract awareness - Understanding JCT and NEC forms of contract.
  6. Extensive knowledge of UK and EU legal framework, particularly contract management.
